Focus - Hamburger Concerto (1974)
 Klasicistní Hamburger Concerto je - vedle Moving Waves - mou nejoblíbenější deskou Focus. A nejen to, je mi bližší, než naprostá většina klasikou inspirovaných předváděček. <br><br>Má formu a řád, je to dílo, které si užijete i bez konzervatoře, silou motivů, ať již vlastních, inspirovaných, citovaných je ojedinělé, nezazní jediný disharmonický tón, prostě muzika jak ze škatulky :-) <br><br>Letem světem: pastorální téma na flétnu (Delitiæ musicæ), reminiscence na Hocus Focus (Harem scarem), velkolepý varhanní chorus (La Cathedrale de Strasbourg), bachovské baroko (Birth, Early Birth) a citacemi z Variace na Haydnovo téma pro orchestr B dur op. 56a (1873) od Johannese Brahmse uvedená titulní kompozice, která vrcholí velkolepým, jen lehce exhibičním finále s latino i jazzovými mžiky.<br><br>Já mám vždy při poslechu Hamburger Concerto takový sváteční pocit, ta hudba nedrásá nitro, nesvádí k podupávání, ani úsměvu - ona povznáší, to je to správné slovo. <br><br>Čirá definice Classical Rocku. Nechte se také povznést.
